Designing for Global Health Equity
CDC Division of Global HIV and TB
Why This Project Mattered
Global health design is about improving access, confidence, and connection across cultures. This project supported the CDC Division of Global HIV and TB in communicating its mission through inclusive visuals and culturally relevant storytelling. By centering empathy and representation, we helped make complex health information more relatable and actionable for communities worldwide.
Approach and Delivery
Through human-centered layout, photography, and messaging, we created visual cohesion for CDC campaigns while allowing flexibility for regional customization. The result was a consistent design language that feels approachable, credible, and globally resonant.
Human Centered Social Campaigns
We designed a series of campaigns celebrating empowerment, education, and health for girls and young women around the world.
Each asset was created with accessibility and cultural sensitivity in mind—using authentic imagery, bold color, and plain language to connect across audiences.
World AIDS Day 2024
We developed a unified visual identity and content strategy for World AIDS Day, strengthening CDC’s message of community and progress. Consistent design language and inclusive imagery helped increase awareness and engagement across global channels.
Making information on policies and programs accessible
We transformed CDC’s policy messages into clear, shareable visuals that connect data to real stories.
Each piece highlights the voices and impact of programs like DREAMS—helping audiences understand outcomes and opportunities at a glance.
Empowering Global Narratives
To celebrate the International Day of the Girl Child, we designed social media content highlighting CDC’s commitment to equity and empowerment.
These graphics use confident photography and vibrant design to amplify global stories of leadership, resilience, and hope.
